Invisible Cities
The project was born from a dream inspired by a story, told by a master story-teller named Italo Calvino.
Invisible Cities tells the tale of a conversation between the Traveler, Marco Polo, and the Emperor, Kublai Khan, in which Marco Polo attempts to describe the wonderous places he has seem scattered throughout the Emperor’s realm. Each of these fifty-five cities is more fantastical than the next, wonderous places suspended on spider’s silk or buried underground or rebuilt each day and demolished every night.
